Next spring, I’ll be leading a sketching retreat at Sofia in Monsaraz, a peaceful creative retreat center surrounded by the vast landscapes of Alentejo, Portugal. Just a short drive from Lisbon, this medieval hilltop village will be our base for five days of sketching, watercolor, and visual storytelling — a chance to slow down, draw from life, and connect with a community of fellow artists.

The retreat includes 4 nights of accommodation and all meals, hosted in the beautiful setting of Sofia in Monsaraz. Each day will bring a mix of guided sketching sessions, relaxed studio time, and opportunities to explore the light, architecture, and atmosphere of this extraordinary region.
